Mood Boosters by Joe Barnett
Trust in the Lord and do good. Psalm 37:3
Your mindset determines how you deal with life, and how you deal with life determines the outcome of life. Put your mind to it we’re told, and you can accomplish anything. “As you think, so shall you become,” said Bruce Lee. It’s a case of mind over matter.
Change your thoughts, and you change your life.
I believe that.
But even more, I believe the mindset of Psalm 37:3-7, where we’re treated to these positive mood boosters:
Trust in the Lord and do good (v.3).
Delight yourself in the Lord (v.4).
Commit your way to the Lord (v.5).
Be patient and wait for the Lord (v.7).
That’s not bootstrap psychology. It’s the real deal.
Change your thoughts and you change your life.

New Mexico Christian Children’s Home!
Jason and Natalie Freed, former members, are traveling to the Houston-Galveston area in mid-December to collect donations from several congregations. Broadway has agreed to participate.
The Children’s Home has a special need for canned goods and other non-perishable foods, along with cleaning supplies and paper goods.
The Tuesday Ladies Class has agreed to be in charge and coordinate this collection. Items should be taken to the classroom where the ladies meet and placed upon the tables.
We encourage everyone to participate in this worthy endeavor.
